Stempelküche Challenge – #71 Clean and simple extrem

Kompliziert? Nee, nicht mit uns! Die Stempelküche-Challenge steht diesmal ganz unter dem Thema clean and simple – extrem! Also wirklich sehr sauber, sehr einfach, sehr extrem! Oder einfach gesagt – weniger ist mehr. Viel weniger. Wir sind gespannt, was ihr so zaubert.

Das Designteam war minimalistisch unterwegs und träumt jetzt von vielen Layern und Schnickschnack. Vielleicht nächtes Mal.

The designteam went minimalistic as f*** and now we all are dreaming about lots of layers and all the knickknack you can put on a card. But not this time. Stay clean, crafties! You can do it!

Here’s my turn – I made a lot of other cards, but they weren’t clean and simple enough to me – have you seen what the other DT girls made? Huge inspiration! So I tried my best to keep it clean and simple. But with a bit of colour. I used my fancy Distress Oxides and the speech bubble from Mama Elephant’s Love Quotes set. The sentiment means „a small thank you“ and that’s all. Clean and simple!

Hier seht ihr meine Karte – ich habe noch ein paar andere gemacht, aber sie waren mir  nicht clean and simple genug – habt ihr gesehen, was die anderen Dt-Mädels gezaubert haben? Inspiration pur! Und so CaS meine Karten sahen überladen aus, oha! Also habe ich es nochmal versucht und diesmal ganz minimalistisch gestempelt, aber immerhin bunt, mit meinen neuen Distress Oxides und der Sprechblase aus dem Set von Mama Elephant. Clean and simple!

Challenge up your life #67 Brads

Es ist Zeit für eine neue Challenge! Wir bei Challenge up your life wollen in den nächsten beiden Wochen Brads auf euren Karten oder Projekten sehen. Wir sind uns sehr sicher, ihr habt auch noch welche von den kleinen Papierklammerdingsis in eurer Sammlung, die nur darauf warten benutzt zu werden. Also los, spielt mit!

It’s Saturday and it’s challenge time and Challenge up your life is asking you to use brads on your cards or projects. We’re pretty sure you got some of these things in your stash – use them and join our challenge.

Stamps: Brutus Monroe – Fish Bowl – Papierprojekt Stempel – „#33 Mini Sprüche“

This card was such a pain in the ass. First of all – I don’t like it at all. It doesn’t turned out how I wanted it to look. But maybe someone is super motivated now and feels better to see my crappy card. Then my camera broke down, I lost all my usb cords, the software is frigging around. Crappy card, crappy day. I hope some time with my stamps will cure my bad mood. At least the card is interactive, the jellyfish moves around – thanks to the brad. 

Diese Karte hat mich ungefähr drei Jahre meines Lebens gekostet. Erstens – ich mag sie nicht. Sie sieht gar nicht so aus, wie meine Skizze und überhaupt – neee. Aber zeigen  kann ich sie ja trotzdem. Vielleicht fühlt sich einer dadurch besser. Dann hat meine Kamera den Geist aufgegeben, meine USB-Kabel sind alle miteinander verschwunden und die Software spinnt auch. Ugh! Gut, dass ein bisschen Zeit am Schreibtisch von diesem Chaos ablenkt – hoffe ich. Immerhin ist die Karte interaktiv, denn die kleine Qualle kann durchs Wasser schwimmen – dank des Brads.

Stempelküche Challenge – #70 Aus dem Garten

Die Eisheiligen sind an uns vorübergezogen und das Team der Stempelküche-Challenge findet ihr jetzt entweder auf dem Balkon oder im Garten. Oder am Schreibtisch. Oder dort, wo es Papier und Stempel gibt. Es wird wieder grün bei uns – und vielleicht auch etwas lecker, denn in den kommenden beiden Wochen wollen wir etwas „Aus dem Garten“ von euch. Ist es noch zu früh für Erdbeeren? Echt jetzt? Menno!

Das Designteam hat alle Stempel umgegraben und gedüngt und ist bereit die die neue Challenge. Seid ihr es auch?

The ice saint’s days are over (don’t let the sun mess you up, it’s still freezing cold sometimes, even in May) and that means the stempelkueche challenge DT is digging up some dirt. Yes, we are getting real messy, because our new challenge is all about „from your garden“ – so no matter if you are planting some vegetables, burying your beloved ones (our garden becomes more and more a cemetery for all my beloved pets, sigh) or doing some regular gardening stuff – show us and join our challenge.

The designteam peeked out of the window or went outside for the first time in years and checked what’s growing in some real world gardens. Don’t move too fast, we are shy.

In Germany it’s kind of a tradition to have something called Schrebergarten – it’s a garden plot in field of garden plots. Kind of… nice and kind of bourgeois-like. But it’s kind of fun if you love to be outside and grow your own food and have a nice place for your own, if your fences are high enough and you don’t have to see your neighbour. I made a card with hip vegetables with fancy glasses having fun. They are probably that happy because they are so yummy and eco-friendly and I’ll eat them. Soon.

In Deutschland ist es ja fast Tradition, dass man einen Schrebergarten hat – eine kleine Parzelle inmitten einer großen Parzelle. Irgendwie… nett, aber auch ganz schön spießig. Aber es ist schön, wenn man gern draußen ist, sein eigenes Gemüse anbaut und einen ruhigen Ort für sich selbst hat, wenn denn der Zaun  zum Nachbarn hoch genug ist.

Bei mir freut sich das hippe, junge Gemüse, dass wir auch hipp und jung sind und es angepflanzt haben. Voll bio und öko und so.

Die Sonne scheint, es wird Zeit rauszugehen. Oder nicht? Wir bei Challenge up your life machen uns ab heute auf den Weg in den Wald. Kommt ihr mit?

I love the forest theme, the idea of trees and some owls just popped into my head and an idea, hehehe. Clean and simple on the outside, but the inside really pops with the cute little owls. It was time for another pop up card and I really had fun creating this one. The sentiments are „Congratulations“ and „You’re amazing“. I hope you like it and play along with us.

Ich liebe das Wald-Thema und hatte sofort die Idee von Bäumen und Eulen, die darin wohnen. Von außen ganz clean und simple (hoffe ich), innen klappt der Baumstamm mit den neugierigen Eulen auf, dazu das Spruchband. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht die Karte zu basteln und hat nicht so lange gedauert, wie ihr denkt. Spielt doch mit bei der neuen Challenge, wir freuen uns auf eure Ideen.

Happy Insta Girls Oster Blog Hop 2017

Guten Morgen, es wird wieder gehoppelt! Die Happy Insta Girls, dieser Haufen Instagrammerinnen (ist das mittlerweile ein richtiges Wort?), schicken sich gegenseitig Karten und ein Schenkli. Schenklis sind fancy verpackte Kleinigkeiten wie Schokolade. Aber das wisst ihr ja schon alles, denn vermutlich seid ihr direkt von Jeanin hierhergehoppelt und wisst mittlerweile, wie der Hase läuft. Wortspiel!

Hippity Hop, it’s time for this years Easter blog hop! Yes, the Happy Insta Girls – a bunch of crafty friends, meeting up at Instagram – did it again and sent each other some happy mail. This time not only a card, but also some little gifts, like chocolate. But you already knew that, right? Well, you came right here from Jeanin, don’t you? 

Hier sehr ihr, was Jeanin mir geschickt hat. Ich hatte glücklicherweise Helferlein, die mir beim Auspacken geholfen haben.

Here’s what Jeanin sent me. I’m glad I got some little helpers.

Jeanins Karte ist einfach nur supersüß – der kleine Hase, der durch die Luft fliegt. Vermutlich checkt er, ob man von oben alle Osternester gut sehen kann oder eben nicht. Von ihr gab es keine Schokolade, sondern ein Buch. Hat sie wohl mitgekriegt, dass das voll mein Ding ist, Bücher und so, hihi. Aber ich freu mich, denn ich kenne es, habe es aber noch nicht in meiner persönlichen Bibliothek. Es ist schön gemein und etwas morbide, also genau richtig. Tausend Dank, Jeanin!

Jeanins card is just too cute – the little bunny is checking if all the Easter goodies are hidden well. She didn’t gave me chocolate but a book. She may knows that books are my jam, hehe. But it’s pretty cool, a bit morbide and very funny, so thanks a lot Jeanin!

Ich war das heimliche Häschen für Birka, die wie jedes Mal den Blog Hop organisiert und sich auch sonst gut um uns kümmert. Also durfte ich die Blog-Hop-Königin beehren, uiuiuiui! Birka hat sich nicht nur Süßigkeiten gewünscht, also habe ich ihre Süßigkeiten als Gemüse getarnt und was so aussieht wie Gemüse, darf auch nur so viele Kalorien haben. Ist ein Gesetz und so. Dabei sehen die Papiermöhrchen auch sehr süß aus. Damit die den Postweg gut überstehen, habe ich eine Gemüsekiste bestempelt („Frische Möhren“)  und sie ein bisschen gestrichen, soll ja alles ein bisschen zusammenpassen. Dazu noch Ostergras aus türkisfarbenem Seidenpapier und fertig sind die Möhrchen.

I had the honour to be the secret bunny to Birka. Birka is the sweet girl who always kicks our sweet asses to join the blog hop and does all the organization stuff. She’s our queen B – means queen blog hop. So Birka asked me kindly not to only send her candy. So I hid all the sweet stuff in carrots made of paper. Like the good old Trojan horse. Yes, it’s a thing so hide the sweet stuff in some healthy stuff. It doesn’t ruins your diet if it looks healthy. I wanted a nice packing for the carrot so I got myself a wooden box from our supermarket and stamped „Fresh carrots“ on it and used some paint so it matched the ink of the stamps and the colours of the carrots. I cut down tissue paper in small stripes and that’s my super healthy Trojan horse.
