Na ja, das ist das was ich so mache und in letzter Zeit schlafe ich wirklich schlecht. Meh. Aber – ich habe endlich Maria gefunden. Kennt ihr Maria? Ich habe einige ihrer Digi Stamps schon gesehen, aber nie ihren Etsy-Shop gefunden (schlecht verlinkt, liebe Blogger, schlecht verlinkt). Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Ich habe mir das großartige Halloween-Bundle gesichert, in dem auch diese beiden wunderschönen Totenschädel waren.
Do you ever find yourself in the middle of the night looking for new stamps on Etsy? Just browsing and exploring new artists? Well, that’s what I do in sleepless nights and believe me, I got some sleepless nights right now. But – I finally found Maria. Do you know her? I saw her art before but I never managed to find her Etsy shop. It was instant love. I got this amazing Halloween bundle and with this bundle came these two skulls. Aren’t they beautiful?

Ich wollte eine farbenfrohe und helle Halloweenkarte/Día de Los Muertos-Karte gestalten – ich weiß, ich weiß, die beiden Tage haben nicht so viel gemeinsam. Aber ich mag die Idee hinter Día de Los Muertos – man feiert das Leben der Toten, während man bei uns in Deutschland am Totensonntag eher die Toten betrauert und ihren Verlust beklagt – meine Meinung. Lasst uns das Leben genießen, egal welcher Tag heute ist.
I just wanted to make a bright and colourfull Halloween/Día de Los Muertos card – I know, I know, they haven’t got much in common. But I really like the Day of the Dead – in Germany we celebrate Totensonntag (Sunday in commemoration of the dead) right before the Advent time. But it’s more darker and all about grief – my two cents. Let’s celebrate life, not matter what day it is.
