Challenge up your life #74 Moodboard

Es ist Zeit für ein neues Thema bei Challenge up your life! Seid ihr auch so aufgeregt? Der Sommer geht langsam vorbei, wir stellen uns langsam auf den Herbst ein und haben für euch ein Moodboard vorbereitet. Ich liebe das Foto und die Farben und hoffe, euch geht’s genauso.

Mornings – it’s time for the new theme over at Challenge up your life!  Summer is almost over and we get ready for autumn with this beautiful moodboard. I really, really love the picture and the colours and hope you are feeling the same. Play along with us, if you want so.

 

Stamps: Stampotique – „Majestic Tree“ – Dani Peuss Klartext Stempel – „unvergessen“

My card looks a bit like a condolence card, right? Well, it’s not what I had in mind, I made this card for a friend who’s having a hard time right now. The sentiment is just perfect for this. It’s from a song from the band Tomte and it goes like this „The sun isn’t disappearing – it’s just the spinning of the earth“ – kind of. It’s pretty hard to translate this. It means the sun won’t disappear forever, it’s just the way the world goes, it won’t stay dark forever. Sometimes you really need to hear this.

Erinnert ein bisschen an eine Trauerkarte, oder? Soll es aber gar nicht sein. Diese hier ist für eine Freundin gedacht, die gerade eine schwere Zeit durchmacht. Dazu passt der Spruch einfach perfekt – er ist ein bisschen von Tomte geklaut, von ihrem wunderschönen Lied „Die Schönheit der Chance“ – nämlich „Das ist nicht die Sonne, die untergeht – sondern die Erde, die sich dreht“ – also wer das nicht schön findet, sollte mal zur Sicherheit seinen Puls fühlen. Manchmal muss man das einfach hören und daran glauben.

Challenge up your life #73 Sommer

Guten Morgen – also ich bin froh, wenn er endlich vorbei ist, aber es soll ja Leute geben, die Hitze mögen. Und Sonnenschein. Und das ganze Zeug. Muahaha. Ihr habt es erraten, oder? Das neue Thema bei Challenge up your life dreht sich um den Sommer. Urlaub, Strand und Eiscreme? Oder Erdbeeren, Hochzeiten und mehr Eiscreme? Zeigt uns eure Karten und Projekte und macht mit – wie immer könnt ihr einen Platz als Gastdesignerin gewinnen, also ran ans Papier, ihr Lieben!

Mornings – well, I’m glad it’s almost over, but I heard there are people who actually like this stuff – the heat, the sunshine, the sweaty stuff. Ugh! Make an educated guess (I’m waiting) – yes, I’m talking about summer. Here’s my card – I love the beach, even if it’s freezing cold and you can only dip in your pasty legs. Like these cute flamingos. The sentiments means „heeeelllooo summer!“ and I hope these to pink cuties are having a blast.

Was ich im Sommer gern mache? Ich liebe das Meer, auch wenn es vielleicht noch zu kalt ist und man nur seine blassen Beine eintauchen kann – wie diese beiden süßen Flamingos. Ich hoffe, das Wasser ist mittlerweile schön warm und die Flamingos machen bald mal eine Arschbombe für mich, hihi.

Challenge up your life #72 Kreise

Es geht rund bei Challenge up your life! Diesmal dreht sich alles um Kreise. Ja, so einfach. Nutzt eure Stempel, Stencil, Dies oder was auch immer und zeigt uns Kreise. Ich bin mir sicher, euch fallen viele tolle Ideen ein.

No time to lose, it’s time for a new theme at Challenge up your life!  This time we want to see some circles. Yes, circles, that easy. Easy as pie and pies are kind of circles, so grab your stamps, stencils, dies or whatever and play with us. I’m pretty sure you got lots of ideas!

Stamps: Mama Elephant – „The Cat’s Meow“ – Stampotique – „Texture Cube 1“

I grabbed the tiny kittens from the Mama Elephant stamp set and this window-like piece of cardstock. But there was something missing, so I used my beloved Stampotique Texture Cube 1 to add some bubbly circles in the background with some nice bright Distress Oxides  (still a fan). Clean and simple and I quiet like it. Perfect for the crazy cat lady in your life.

Die kleinen Katzen aus dem Stempelset von Mama Elephant sind perfekt, um aus kleinen Fenstern (na ja Kreisen) zu schauen, findet ihr nicht? Außerdem sind die Karten schnell gemacht, was von Vorteil ist, falls euer Mojo mal wieder klemmt oder ihr einfach zu viele Katzenladies in eurem Leben kennt, hihi.

Challenge up your life #71 Essen + Leckereien

Nomnomnom, es wird lecker bei Challenge up your life, denn die nächsten beiden Wochen würden wir so gern Leckereien auf euren Projekten sehen. Endlich mal Zeit, um die vielen Futterfotos zu verscrappen oder eine Einladung zum Essen zu basteln, oder?

Nomnomnom, it’s getting yummy at Challenge up your life!  This time we want to see some food, treats or sweets on your projects, what a delicious theme, right? Time to use all the pics of your food you made last year or to create a invitation for a nice dinner?

Here’s my yummy card – I used the Big Bear and Bird stamp set (darn, I love this stamp set!) and added lots and lots of sweets and candy. I wish I was this bear! What about you? The sentiment means „Congratulations“.

Hier ist meine leckere Karte – ich habe dafür das Stempelset Big Bear and Bird benutzt (das ich wirklich sehr mag!) und habe viele, viele Süßigkeiten dazugepackt. Jetzt wäre ich gern der Bär. Ihr auch?

Challenge up your life #70 Farbchallenge

Ahoi, Challenge up your life träumt sich ab heute ans Meer oder zumindest ins Blaue, denn die nächsten beiden Wochen möchten wir euch für unsere Farbchallenge begeistern.

Ahoy, it’s time for a new theme at Challenge up your life!  This time we got a colour challenge for you – very nautical colours, so come and play with us.

Well, mermaids are everywhere these days, aren’t they? I got this stamp set a few years ago and of course I had to use it for this challenge. And yes, she looks a bit like this Disney princess who gives up everything for a guy she just met. But at least I tried to catch all the blue tones and the nautical picture, so you can  do this too. And now into the ocean! Maybe there is a prince waiting for us. Or stamps. I prefer stamps.

Mhm, Meerjungfrauen gibt es die Tage ja überall zu bestaunen, oder? Dieses Stempelset habe ich schon eine ganze Weile und natürlich musste sie für diese Challenge mal wieder benutzt werden. Und ja, ich geb’s ja zu, diese Meerjungfrau sieht ein bisschen so aus wie diese Disney-Prinzessin, die alles für diesen Kerl aufgibt, den sie gerade erst getroffen hat. Immerhin habe ich versucht all die Blautöne zu benutzen – das schafft ihr bestimmt auch. Und jetzt ab ins Wasser! Vielleicht wartet dort ein Prinz. Oder Stempel. Ich würde die Stempel nehmen.
