Smeared Ink | useless trinkets

Zwei Herzen schlagen, ach, in meiner Brust – ein fröhliches, das nette Sachen mag und dunkles, das morbide Dinge liebt. Einfach gesagt – ich mag Zombies und Rehlein. Heute wird es düster, denn ich spiele im Verlies des Haunted Design House. Für die letzte Challenge habe ich eins von zwei makarbren Meisterwerken geschaffen, deshalb darf ich euch heute ins Verlies führen und euch meine dunkle Seite zeigen! Oh und wie sehr ich diese dunkle Seite liebe!

Die April-Challenge will, dass wir grün werden – vor Neid? Fäulnis? Weil wir recyclen? Ich habe mich für das grünäugige Monster entschieden – den Neid. Ich habe schnell eine Journalingkarte entworfen und ausgedruckt, den Augapfel der Octopde Facotry gestempelt und anschließend mit einem Pinsel grün koloriert. Das Monster von Smeared Ink kriecht aus der Karte, sobald es Neid wittert, ist man zufrieden, lässt es sich nicht so schnell blicken, dann schlummert es zwischen der Kartenbasis und der Hintergrundpapier.

Two souls are housed withing my breast – a bright one, that loves nice things – and a dark one, with a love for morbide things. I’ll keep this short – I love zombies and fawns. Are you feeling the same? Today I am the gruesome guest designer in the dungeon of the Haunted Design House – so it’s getting dark! For their last challenge I made one of the two macabre masterpieces and now I’m allowed to come to the dungeon and show you my dark side again. And how much I love the dark side! The April challenge wants us to go green – with envy? Decay? Even recycling?

I designed a journaling card and printed it, than I stamped the background with an eyeball stamp from The Octopode Factory and coloured it. The monster from Smeared Ink comes creeping if you are full of envy – if you are not, it creeps back into a crack between the card base and the background layer.

To be honest – I’m not into Valentine’s Day. It used to be not a big deal here in Germany – just like Halloween. Guys, I love you for Halloween, but can I return Valentine’s Day? Don’t get me wrong, I’m able to love people (and stamps and people who bring me stamps), but I’m not into that heart-and-love-stuff nailed to one day of the year.
