Ich weiß, was du letzten Winter getan hast!

Denn mal ehrlich, so viele Leute, die ich kenne, bekommen plötzlich Babies! Ja, diese winzig kleinen Menschen werden hier fast wöchentlich geboren. Was?! Also macht euch bereit für viele, viele Babykarten, denn wir wissen, was ihr letzten Winter so getan habt, hehehehe.

I know what you did last winter! Because – guys! So many people I know are having babies right now! Yes, these tiny human beings. What?! So get ready for lots and lots of baby cards, because we all know what those people did last winter, hehehehe.

Hier wäre wir – die erste Karte ist für ein Mädchen (wie ihr vielleicht schon erraten habt), die zweite für einen Jungen. Ich liebe das Stempelset von Brutus Monroe einfach – es ist perfekt für Babykarten, nicht zu kitschig finde ich und nicht das übliche sabbernde, windeltragende Motiv, das man vielleicht sonst so kennt.

So here we go – the first one is a card for a girl (as you may guessed), the second one is for a boy. The small sentiment means – „Welcome to life“. I love, love, love this stamps set from Brutus Monroe, it’s just perfect for baby cards. It’s not the usual drivelling diaper wearing baby motive you see all around.

Here’s my card – I love the beach, even if it’s freezing cold and you can only dip in your pasty legs. Like these cute flamingos. The sentiments means „heeeelllooo summer!“ and I hope these to pink cuties are having a blast.

Was ich im Sommer gern mache? Ich liebe das Meer, auch wenn es vielleicht noch zu kalt ist und man nur seine blassen Beine eintauchen kann – wie diese beiden süßen Flamingos. Ich hoffe, das Wasser ist mittlerweile schön warm und die Flamingos machen bald mal eine Arschbombe für mich, hihi.

Challenge up your life #70 Farbchallenge

Ahoi, Challenge up your life träumt sich ab heute ans Meer oder zumindest ins Blaue, denn die nächsten beiden Wochen möchten wir euch für unsere Farbchallenge begeistern.

Ahoy, it’s time for a new theme at Challenge up your life!  This time we got a colour challenge for you – very nautical colours, so come and play with us.

Well, mermaids are everywhere these days, aren’t they? I got this stamp set a few years ago and of course I had to use it for this challenge. And yes, she looks a bit like this Disney princess who gives up everything for a guy she just met. But at least I tried to catch all the blue tones and the nautical picture, so you can  do this too. And now into the ocean! Maybe there is a prince waiting for us. Or stamps. I prefer stamps.

Mhm, Meerjungfrauen gibt es die Tage ja überall zu bestaunen, oder? Dieses Stempelset habe ich schon eine ganze Weile und natürlich musste sie für diese Challenge mal wieder benutzt werden. Und ja, ich geb’s ja zu, diese Meerjungfrau sieht ein bisschen so aus wie diese Disney-Prinzessin, die alles für diesen Kerl aufgibt, den sie gerade erst getroffen hat. Immerhin habe ich versucht all die Blautöne zu benutzen – das schafft ihr bestimmt auch. Und jetzt ab ins Wasser! Vielleicht wartet dort ein Prinz. Oder Stempel. Ich würde die Stempel nehmen.

Challenge up your life #67 Brads

Es ist Zeit für eine neue Challenge! Wir bei Challenge up your life wollen in den nächsten beiden Wochen Brads auf euren Karten oder Projekten sehen. Wir sind uns sehr sicher, ihr habt auch noch welche von den kleinen Papierklammerdingsis in eurer Sammlung, die nur darauf warten benutzt zu werden. Also los, spielt mit!

It’s Saturday and it’s challenge time and Challenge up your life is asking you to use brads on your cards or projects. We’re pretty sure you got some of these things in your stash – use them and join our challenge.

This card was such a pain in the ass. First of all – I don’t like it at all. It doesn’t turned out how I wanted it to look. But maybe someone is super motivated now and feels better to see my crappy card. Then my camera broke down, I lost all my usb cords, the software is frigging around. Crappy card, crappy day. I hope some time with my stamps will cure my bad mood. At least the card is interactive, the jellyfish moves around – thanks to the brad. 

Diese Karte hat mich ungefähr drei Jahre meines Lebens gekostet. Erstens – ich mag sie nicht. Sie sieht gar nicht so aus, wie meine Skizze und überhaupt – neee. Aber zeigen  kann ich sie ja trotzdem. Vielleicht fühlt sich einer dadurch besser. Dann hat meine Kamera den Geist aufgegeben, meine USB-Kabel sind alle miteinander verschwunden und die Software spinnt auch. Ugh! Gut, dass ein bisschen Zeit am Schreibtisch von diesem Chaos ablenkt – hoffe ich. Immerhin ist die Karte interaktiv, denn die kleine Qualle kann durchs Wasser schwimmen – dank des Brads.

Die Sonne scheint, es wird Zeit rauszugehen. Oder nicht? Wir bei Challenge up your life machen uns ab heute auf den Weg in den Wald. Kommt ihr mit?

I love the forest theme, the idea of trees and some owls just popped into my head and an idea, hehehe. Clean and simple on the outside, but the inside really pops with the cute little owls. It was time for another pop up card and I really had fun creating this one. The sentiments are „Congratulations“ and „You’re amazing“. I hope you like it and play along with us.

Ich liebe das Wald-Thema und hatte sofort die Idee von Bäumen und Eulen, die darin wohnen. Von außen ganz clean und simple (hoffe ich), innen klappt der Baumstamm mit den neugierigen Eulen auf, dazu das Spruchband. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht die Karte zu basteln und hat nicht so lange gedauert, wie ihr denkt. Spielt doch mit bei der neuen Challenge, wir freuen uns auf eure Ideen.
